Syneste Studio specializes in the production and sale of furniture and home accessories. Our designs emphasize timeless aesthetics, artisanal craftsmanship, and natural materials.
4. Prices and Currencies
- Czech market (CZ): Prices are displayed in Czech crowns (CZK). The company is not a VAT payer; therefore, VAT is not charged.
- European Union (EU): Prices are displayed in euros (EUR). The company is not a VAT payer; therefore, VAT is not charged.
- Outside the EU: Prices are displayed in euros (EUR). The customer is responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, or fees in the destination country.
Shipping costs and additional services are calculated separately and displayed before order confirmation.
5. Ordering
Orders can be placed via:
- Our official website (Shopify platform),
- Instagram account @syneste.studio,
- By phone or e-mail,
- Using the contact form on our website.
After placing an order, the customer will receive an automated confirmation e-mail summarizing the order details.
For custom-made tables or other made-to-order products, we require a deposit or full prepayment before production begins.
6. Shipping and Packaging
Shipping costs are calculated based on product size, weight, and delivery address.
Delivery options
- Czech Republic (Prague): Personal pickup at Syneste Studio or delivery via local courier services (e.g., Liftago).
For more details about delivery options, please click here. - Czech Republic (outside Prague): Delivery via standard courier services (DPD, PPL, etc.).
- EU countries: Delivery via DHL Express or equivalent international shipping provider.
- Outside EU: International shipping is available depending on the product type.
Certain fragile tables (e.g., Mitsu stone collection) cannot be shipped outside the EU – this will be clearly stated on the product page.
Packaging: Tables and other products are carefully packed using protective materials and custom crates to ensure safe transport. The customer must inspect the shipment upon delivery and report any visible damage to the courier immediately.
7. Payment
We accept payments via:
- Credit/debit cards (Shopify Payments),
- Apple Pay, Google Pay,
- Bank transfer (pre-payment),
- Cash or card payment at our studio.
Payment methods available may vary depending on the customer’s country and the Shopify system settings. For online payments, the transaction is processed securely through Shopify's payment gateway. Goods will be dispatched or made available for pickup only after full payment is received.
8. Warranty and Liability for Defects
8.1 Warranty Period
We provide a 24-month warranty for all products, covering manufacturing and material defects that were present at the time of delivery.
8.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of table surfaces,
- Mechanical damage caused by improper handling or use,
- Exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., rain, snow, direct sunlight for long periods),
- Damage caused by inappropriate cleaning agents or abrasive tools.
8.3 Special Notes for Outdoor Use
Tables are intended for indoor use or covered outdoor spaces only. Direct exposure to rain, snow, or prolonged humidity may damage the surface and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
9. Proper Use and Maintenance of Tables
- Always use protective pads for hot objects such as pots or candles.
- Immediately wipe up spilled liquids (coffee, wine, oil, fruit juice, etc.).
- Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth and mild soap.
- Avoid abrasive sponges, strong chemical cleaners, acetone, or ammonia.
- Avoid direct impacts with sharp or heavy objects.
10. Complaints Procedure
10.1 Filing a Complaint:
Send your complaint by e-mail to info@syneste.studio including:
- Order number,
- Photos of the defect,
- Description of the problem,
- Proof of purchase.
10.2 Resolution Period:
Complaints will be processed within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
10.3 Resolution:
Depending on the defect, we may offer:
- Repair of the product,
- Replacement,
- Partial refund or discount.
11. Returns
11.1 Online Purchases
- You may return non-custom goods within 14 days of delivery without providing a reason.
- Custom-made tables or other made-to-order products cannot be returned if they meet the agreed specifications.
- Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
- The customer covers return shipping costs.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days using the original payment method.
11.2 Purchases in the Physical Studio
Items purchased directly at our studio cannot be returned without reason. Customers can inspect the items thoroughly before purchase.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data is collected only to the extent necessary to process orders and provide services.
We comply with GDPR and Shopify's privacy standards.
