The surface is resistant to water and stains, making it both practical and enduring. It is also suitable for outdoor use.

The surface is protected by an eight-layer microcement system that combines base and finishing layers of microcement, and a protective sealer. This process ensures high resistance to water, stains, and everyday wear.
The base of each table is made from solid wood, MDF or particle boards, PVC, or concrete (used as internal ballast). Each material is carefully selected and crafted to ensure long-lasting stability, structural strength, and a refined, minimalist aesthetic.

Caring for your Kanso table
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your table, we recommend a few simple care habits that will keep it in perfect condition for years to come.
Everyday care
Wipe the surface regularly with a clean, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use a soft damp cloth and a mild soap.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, rough sponges, and aggressive chemicals like acetone, ammonia, or acidic/alkaline agents.
Use with care
Always use coasters and placemats to protect the surface from hot, wet, or sharp objects.
Avoid direct contact with acidic liquids (like lemon juice or vinegar), as they may stain or etch the finish.
Spills should be cleaned immediately with a soft, damp cloth.
Outdoor use
Our tables are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. During warmer months, they can be placed in covered or partially sheltered outdoor spaces.
To ensure longevity, we recommend protecting the table from excessive moisture and frost. In colder or rainy seasons, store it indoors or cover it fully with a waterproof cover.

Each piece is crafted from a durable eight-layer microcement system hand-applied over a solid base. The surface is seamless, resistant, and suitable for everyday use. It’s sealed with several protective layers of lacquer.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, Kanso tables can be used outdoors. The protective lacquer we use includes UV protection and water resistance. We still recommend keeping the table sheltered from long exposure to heavy rain or snow — ideally under a roof or pergola.
How do I care for the table?

Use a soft cloth, water, and a mild cleaning agent without alcohol or strong chemicals. Avoid abrasive sponges. For regular maintenance, simply wipe the surface dry with a microfiber cloth to preserve its natural finish.

Yes — within reason. Everyday use (cups, plates, vases) is completely fine. We don’t recommend placing hot pots or candles directly on the surface or scratching it with sharp objects.

Absolutely. Each Kanso table is made to order, so you can customize the size, shape, and finish. We have physical samples available in our Prague studio or can send them by post upon request.

Standard lead time is around 6–7 weeks depending on complexity and current workshop schedule. For larger or international orders, production time may vary individually.

Each table is hand-packed with great care to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. We deliver across Europe — personally within Prague, and through trusted carriers throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
For larger pieces, we also offer assistance with carrying and placement directly on site. If you have specific delivery requirements, let us know — we’ll always do our best to find a solution that suits you.

Every piece is fully insured. If any damage occurs, contact us as soon as possible — we’ll handle the repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.
Can I return an item if it doesn’t fit well in my space?

Yes, standard products can be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the return is due to our error.
However, made-to-order items such as tables or rugs in custom sizes or finishes cannot be returned due to a change of mind — only if they arrive damaged or faulty.

Kanso offers the look of concrete but a completely different feel — it’s lighter, smoother, warmer to the touch, non-porous, and water-resistant. Each table is handmade, giving it a unique surface texture and depth that industrial concrete can’t replicate.
